The PowerBreaker PBR100A 30mA 6kA Double Pole 100A Type A RCCB is a DIN rail mountable residual current circuit breaker with 2 poles, a 30mA trip residual current type A and rated short circuit capacity of 6kA.The RCCB is an electrical wiring residual current protection device that monitors current flow in the line and neutral, and then interrupts the circuit when a current leak to the earth wire is detected.It also protects users against electrocution, shocks, or fires from direct contact.The tripping current type A is ensured for residual sinusoidal alternating currents and residual pulsating direct currents whether it is slowly rising or applied suddenly.It is designed and tested for use with PowerBreaker consumer units.It is advised that a qualified electrician must safely install it, in accordance with BS7671 wiring regulations for electrical installations.It has an electrical endurance operation of up to 4,000 cycles as well as, a mechanical endurance operation of up to 10,000 times.It is IP20 rated which means the PowerBreaker PBR100A is protected against dust ingress and objects greater than 12mm in size, and it is also touchproof.The PowerBreaker PBR100A conforms with BS EN 61008 standards.Dimensions of terminals 1 – 35mm and torque recommended minimum tightening of 2.5Nm.3 years warranty included.
