The PowerBreaker PBR80A 30mA 6kA Double Pole 80A Type A RCCB is a residual current circuit breaker that is DIN rail mountable.The RCCB is a current protection system as it monitors then disconnects the circuit whenever a current leak to the earth wire is detected as well as protecting users from potential electric shocks and electrocutions from direct contact.It has 2 poles, a 30mA trip current type A and short circuit capacity rating of 6kA.The trip current type A detects pulsating DC residual currents and ensures tripping for residual AC currents.It is designed and tested for use with PowerBreaker consumer units.It is advised that a qualified electrician must safely install it, in accordance with BS7671 wiring regulations for electrical installations.The PowerBreaker PBR80A conforms with BS EN 61008 standards.It has an electrical endurance operation of up to 4,000 cycles as well as, a mechanical endurance operation of up to 10,000 times.With an IP20 rating, the PowerBreaker PBR80A is both touchproof and protected from dust ingress and objects greater than 12mm.Dimensions of terminals 1 – 35mm and torque recommended minimum tightening of 2.5Nm.3 years warranty included.
