DescriptionAn masterfully constructed classic flight jacket from Rainbow Country’s California Mfg label.Design: Based on the late 1941 Roughwear Contract W535AC-23380. Rainbow Country extensively studied vintage A2 models in this contract to reproduce relevant details down to the shape of the collar and pockets, thread colors, etc.Leather: 1.3mm / 3.25oz vegetable tanned horsehide. Dark purple base with dark seal brown aniline finish applied on top. It has a ton of texture and richness of color right out of the box. Will develop beautifully as the dark brown dye wears away to create more depth.Lining: Light brown cotton through body and sleeves.Hardware: Branded Talon zip and hidden snaps. Custom dark brown knits.Fit: A slim, comfortable jacket. Typically take your standard size. Del is 5’9″ 175 pounds with just over a 40″ chest. He wears a standard US size 40 in most jackets. He wears a size 40 in the A2. If you’re between sizes or want room for heavy layers, I recommend sizing up. Please refer to the size chart provided by Rainbow Country below.
